Wuthering Waves’ 3.0 update has unveiled a bunch of special events to keep track of. Here’s an overview of all the important event details players should know.

Wuthering Waves entered its 3.0 version a while ago, but there’s still a bunch of Events for players to catch up on. Even after starting its second phase, more Events have popped up with their own rewards. This includes special collaborations with Sega and Events revolving around the new motorcycle feature and its upgrades. There’s a lot to look over, so here’s a quick and in-depth overview of every event in version 3.0!
Table of Contents
🗓️ When Do These Events End?

While some events began during the very start of version 3.0’s release, others released only for phase 2. This may cause some confusion over which events end and which ones you should start sooner. To check this, the Event pages in your settings should tell you the exact start and end dates for each. Otherwise, it’s worth knowing that the majority of the current Events running right now end on February 4, 2026. You can also get some cool rewards quickly here by buy Wuthering Waves top up today!
There are a few other Events that don’t follow the same case though. Events like Beyond the Waves have already long expired back on January 19th. Thankfully, that’s the only Event that’s long gone. Some others were introduced on Christmas day of last year following the new Lahai-Roi Academy storyline. Those in particular are permanent Events for the story, so you can take your time with those.
⏰ Limited Events

The first batch of Events that we’ll go over are the ones only around for a limited time. These are the most important to complete right now arguably, as once they’re gone, they’re gone for good! However, just because they’re limited doesn’t mean that you can get started on them immediately. Some of the Events have special storyline and mission requirements before starting.
🌟 Back to Solaris

Back to Solaris is a Web Event that’s meant to celebrate returning players to Wuthering Waves and new ones. To get rewards from this Event, you’ll need to send Invite Codes to new players. These codes also work for inviting people with old accounts back to the game as long as they’ve had a break period in between. Doing so will reward you with Astrite and Shell Credits all the way until February 4th.
🎁 Gifts of Freshers Week

While the previous Event is all about sending codes, this one is just about logging in consistently throughout the update. For 7 days, you’ll be getting free rewards just for checking in on Wuthering Waves. You don’t have to log in for every day straight, but it definitely helps by making it a habit. All the way until the 7th day, you’ll receive a free Lustrous Tide before getting a Radiant one on the final day of the Event.
🏫 Let’s Go, to Startorch Academy!

Without even having to do anything, you’ll automatically get some free Radiant Tides and Crystal Solvents when logging into the 3.0 update for the first time. According to the Event description, the gifts will already be in your Mail to claim. This will only last until the end of the update’s second wave though, so make sure to get it now!
🌌 Capturing Starlight

Now we get to the Events that have some actual gameplay to them. This one may take you a while, as you’ll be tasked with another quest to take photos at key landmarks around Lahai-Roi. There’s just 8 locations this time around, so it’s a bit easier than previous ones. Every update has at least one Event about photos, so this isn’t too much of a shock. Just the same old gameplay until the end of Phase 2.
♠️ Ascendant Aces

Ascendant Aces is probably the most fun limited Event right now, as it’s essentially a trial run of all the current featured characters in the update. From the top 5-star units to the featured 4-stars, you can try each one out in their respective arenas full of enemies. By trying out each unit, you also get some free rewards to go alongside it. Don’t be afraid to try them out and also see which one you want to pull for at the same time.
🎭 The Persona & Sonic Collab

This is the most exciting Event, as it features one of the biggest collabs for Wuthering Waves by Sega. By completing some of the current new Lahai-Roi story missions to unlock the motorcycles, you can use it to unlock some exclusive Persona and Sonic the Hedgehog themed liveries and even soundtracks! These missions will take a while to complete, so out of all these Events, get to this one as soon as possible.
🏍️ Startorch Racing

To coincide with the new motorcycle-based collab, there’s another Event that will require it. Every day for 7 days, a new race track will be unlocked for this Event. By completing each one in order daily, you’ll receive new rewards including some resources to upgrade your bike. Completing this alongside the collab is great considering the upgrades needed for some of those missions.
🎀 Permanent Events

There’s only three permanent Events that have been added to Wuthering Waves 3.0 recently, but they’re super important to complete too. Not only do they contain some more rewards to help you progress and explore more of Lahai-Roi, but they’re essential to the main storyline and learning more about the update’s new characters. You can still take your time completing these though, so there’s no rush while you finish the limited Events instead.
🎉 Lahai-Roi Pioneers

This Event has the most story significance and encourages the most gameplay and exploration of Lahai-Roi. It’s very possible to complete a lot of the missions found here by just looking around the region on your own. Otherwise, you’ll want to focus on all the tasks that each have different themes. While others focus on upgrading your new motorcycle, others are more based around combat and collecting items for extra rewards.
🏞️ Operation: Frontier Renewal

While the Lahai-Roi Pioneers Event is a mixed bag of tasks and missions of different themes, this one is solely about finding and repairing structures around the region. By finding Route Constructors marked on your map, you’ll need to repair each using resources that can be found from enemies, Chests, and other quests.
⚔️ Peaks of Prestige: Rekindled Duel

The previous Events are intertwined with the update’s and Lahai-Roi’s main storyline, but this one goes the opposite direction with a nice game of cards. By utilizing your strategies, you’ll be creating decks to make the perfect battle plans. Doing so will cause you to build your teams and enter the fights like usual, but completing every level will unlock some nice materials for character upgrades and builds.
